TKWH girls lose to Crusaders
The Triton/Kenyon-Wanamingo/Hayfield soccer girls got down early in their contest with Mankato Loyola, on Thursday, September 28. Following a Crusaders 5-0 first half advantage, the ML girls finished off things by a final tally of 6-0. TKWH goalie Alyssa Knudson finished the game with 7 saves.
TKWH soccer girls battle to a tie
To say the Triton/Kenyon-Wanamingo/Hayfield girls soccer team is playing in a very competitive conference is an understatement. However, the girls are scrappy on the pitch, and they remain unintimidated by any opposition. Testament to that is the fact that they sit at 0-7-4 overall on the season. Those 4 ties might well have tilted the Cobras’ way, and the soccer gods might well have awarded them 4 victories. On Monday, September 25, the TKWH girls fought a rugged Caledonia team to a, you guessed it, 1-1 draw…Triton/Kenyon-Wanamingo/Hayfield: Romina Medina, 1 goal; goalie Alyssa Knudson had 12 saves.
