Kolton Rieck pitched 1 inning, giving up 1 earned run and registering 2 Ks. Joiser Ortiz had a triple, Zack Bodenstab hit a 2-RBI single to score DC’s only runs.
“It was a hot night for baseball in Adams. The Adams pitchers did a good job keeping us off balance with fast balls and curve balls. We struggled to get anything going offensively, and we made some mistakes defensively,” said Coach Coltt Ullom. Bodenstab pitched a solid 5 innings and gave the Cobras a chance to win the game, but they could not capitalize on walks and runners in scoring position.
