Byron boys soccer wins senior night game

Last Tuesday, Byron hosted Cannon Falls winning 3-0.
 Ben Zimmerman started the scoring and  Brady Boyken added a goal of his own early on. Josh Gibson added a goal  scoring off a header from a corner kick delivered by Ryan Hartman with 11 minutes left in the half. 
Byron goalkeeper Jackson Ihrke had a shutout stopping two goals in the game.
For Byron, it was the team’s senior night honoring the following seniors: Ben Zimmerman, Luke Bennett, Brayden Olson, Jack Ende, Jaxon Boynton, Brady Boyken, Jackson Ihrke, Isaiah McMahon and JJ Sarkaria.
On Thursday,  the team traveled to Red Wing, scoring four goals in the first half and another four in the second half to win 8-1.
Brady Boyken scored the first goals of the game, and another later on to earn a hat trick.
Nate Cadwell, Tyler Boyken, Jaxon Boynton, Caden Anderson and Isaiah McMahon, all had goals in the game.
 Ryan Hartman had  two assists in the game, along with Boynton, Teigen Henderson, Ben Zimmerman and Brayden Olson who all had assists.
Ihrke finished the game with three saves.
