BREAKING: Olmsted Sheriff investigating stabbing near Byron Middle School

Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an altercation and stabbing Thursday evening near Byron Middle School. One person was stabbed and transported to Mayo Clinic-Saint Marys Campus and two individuals are in custody, according to reports.
Byron Public Schools Supt. Joey Page said in an email to school families Thursday evening there had been an incident near Byron Middle School involving a student and suspects had been taken into custody.
“We want to assure you that our students are safe and supported as they return to school tomorrow; resources are in place for anyone who may need to access them. We will take all measures necessary to ensure that out students are educated in a safe and nurturing environment,” Page said.
