BREAKING NEWS UPDATE: Sheriff's Office confirms man killed in car crash by Mantorville

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office confirms a 48-year-old Mantorville man died in a one-vehicle rollover northwest of Mantorville Friday morning.
Captain Ryer Anderson said the man’s identity will not be released until family members have been notified.
According to Anderson, the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed eastbound on County Road 16 near 237th Avenue when it lost control and rolled over. The driver was not buckled up and was ejected from the vehicle, Anderson said, adding the man was pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner responded to the scene.
No one else was in the vehicle. Road conditions were dry at the time of the crash. Anderson said it is “undetermined” at this time if alcohol played a role in the crash.
Dodge Center Ambulance, Mantorville Fire and the State Patrol assisted the sheriff’s office at the scene.
The DCI will have more details when they become available.
