BREAKING NEWS: Triton voters approve levy referendum

After a fourth attempt at passing a levy referendum, the Triton School District has finally been successful.
Unofficial results indicate that voters in the Triton district passed the referendum 818 to 568 in Tuesday’s special election. 
The referendum will allow Triton school officials to increase revenue by $750 per pupil. School leaders said the money was needed because the state is not funding public education to the extent needed.
