BREAKING NEWS: KASSON POLICE OFFICER JAILED IN CONNECTION WITH SEXUAL ASSAULT

A Kasson police officer is behind bars facing charges in connection with a sexual assault.
Julio Baez-Cisneros was booked into the Olmsted County Jail on Tuesday at 7:35 p.m. He is expected to be arraigned on charges Thursday morning.
The jail lists the charges against Baez as sexual contact person in authority with victim under 13, false imprisonment-intentional restraint and three other felony counts of criminal sexual conduct.
However, Baez has not been arraigned yet on any of the charges.
The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office has called a press conference for Thursday at 9 a.m. to discuss the case further. No other details are being released by the sheriff’s office.
Baez was found June 2 outside of Mantorville with self-inflicted gunshot wounds. He has been at St. Mary’s Hospital since the incident.
The DCI will have more on this developing story when details become available.
