BREAKING NEWS: Group Memorial planned for Robinson family

First Lutheran Church of Blooming Prairie and the city’s police chief are requesting the community’s support for a toddler brutally murdered last week and dumped outside of Blooming Prairie.
Pastor Heidi Heimgartner and Chief Greg Skillestad are inviting the community to take part in a group memorial. Sympathy cards, notes, drawings and very small tokens will be accepted and forwarded to the family in Milwaukee. 
Cards and items may be dropped off at the City Administrator’s Office in Blooming Prairie or First Lutheran Church at 434 First St. SW in Blooming Prairie. Collection will continue for one week ending on March 27. All items will be mailed together on March 28.
“Thank you to our law enforcement and the community for your prayers, thoughts and gestures of sympathy for the Robinson family and friends,” Rev. Heimgartner said.
