BREAKING NEWS: Dodge Wind Farm asks to withdraw route application

Dodge County Wind, LLC, has sent a request to the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission to withdraw its route permit application for the 345 kilovolt high-voltage transmission line for the Dodge County Wind Project.The request was because of the “significant interconnection costs” associated with one of the positions. The applications for the Certificate of Need as well as the Site Permit application were not withdrawn and two public meetings scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 20, are still scheduled.DCW also asked that the procedural schedule be suspended while the company finds a new point of interconnection for the Project.
