Boys hockey earns top 5 seed

Despite losing its final two regular season games, the Dodge County boys hockey team earned the fifth seed in the Section 1A boys hockey tournament, which was set to begin Thursday.
In its matchup against Waseca Dodge County was defeated 4-1.
For the Wildcats Camryn Koch scored the one goal for the team, and Cooper Bebee, and Brett Ludvigsen each had an assist in the game.
Behind the net Wes Wagner stopped 23 out of 27 shots.
The Wildcats were also defeated by Totino-Grace 8-3 to end the regular season.
Scoring for the Wildcats was Gabe Coshenet, Dylan Klomps, and Ludvigsen.
Koch had an assist, along with Griffin Gibbs, and Ludvigsen.
Wagner stopped 26 out of 32 shots behind the net, Parker Kinsley stopped two out of four shots, and Mason VanBenschoten stopped the one shot on net.
