Bears spoils K-M’s homecoming
The Byron Bears football team dominated Kasson-Mantorville, during K-M’s homecoming game 42-0.
Byron scored first off of a 55 yard touchdown run by Carson Heimer in the first quarter. He scored a second touchdown later in the first off of a 41 yard run. Brevin Brakke also scored in the first quarter.
In the second quarter Issac Scharpman caught a 11 yard passing touchdown from quarterback Elijah Rodemeyer to put the Bears up 28-0.
Heimer would score his third rushing touchdown in the third quarter on a four yard rush to put the Bears up 35-0. Jake Jones also finished the game with a rushing touchdown.
Heimer finished the game with 233 rushing yards off of 21 rushes, and Rodemeyer threw for 86 yards along with the touchdown in the game.
For K-M quarterback Sam Graunke finished the game with just one completion and an interception, while also rushing for 25 yards.
Caisen Thome finished the game with 39 rushing yards in the loss.
