Anna Segner grew up in Owatonna and graduated from Owatonna Senior High School in 2011. She enjoys dabbling in different avenues of writing including creative, academic, and journalistic writing. She has had creative pieces published in multiple undergraduate literary magazines, and she played an active role in generating a creative writing club and blog for students at Saint Mary’s University. While college keeps Segner busy, she enjoys painting, writing, and spending time outside whether it be hiking, snowshoeing or canoeing. Segner is excited to spend the summer working for The Times.
