Byron softball defeats Zumbrota-Mazeppa

After trailing early the Byron softball team defeated Zumbrota-Mazeppa 13-6 last week.
Z-M took a 3-0 lead after scoring three in the bottom of the first inning.
After holding Byron scoreless for the first three innings Byron would go on to score seven in the top of the fourth to take a 7-3 lead.

Triton defeats NRHEG

The Triton baseball team played in only one game the past week defeating NRHEG 19-15.
Mason Bills had four hits and four RBIs in the game, Cohen McNeilus had three hits including a double, and Austin Scanlan had three hits in the game.
 

Byron defeats Medford

The Byron softball team defeated Medford 9-4 last Saturday.
Mackenzie Steele had three hits, three runs, and three RBIs, Kaydence Fjerstad had two hits, and three RBIs, Sydney Portner had a hit, two RBIs, and a walk, and Leeah Strain had a hit in the win.
Tallie Behrens pitched seven innings, giving up four hits, two earned runs, two walks, and struck out five.

Triton blanks Medford

The Triton baseball team shut out Medford last week 12-0.
On the mound for Triton Cohen McNeilus pitched four innings, gave up one hit and struck out six.
Austin Scanlan had a double and scored three runs, while Theo Kispert had three RBIs and McNeilus had two.
Triton also defeated Lake Crystal- Welcome-Memorial last week 6-2.

Hayfield Track and Field looks to improve

Improving each week will be the main goal for the Hayfield girls track and field team this season.

Battle of the Gods comes to Kasson

The first ever Battle of the Gods strongman competition on April 12 at Kratos Athletic Center in Kasson.
Athletes will face off in epic events like the Axle Press, Power Stair, Max Deadlift, Hercules Hold, and Sandbag to Shoulder. With a $500 cash prize on the line for the heaviest deadlift and trophies for top finishers.
Doors open at 10 a.m. and spectators are welcome.
