Current Triton Head Coach Brandon Neseth will be taking over as activities director for the district beginning July 1.

Triton, Hayfield begins track season

The Triton and Hayfield track teams took a trip down to Mankato last weekend, to compete in an indoor track meet at Mankato State.
For the girls, Hayfield’s Breanna Subbert finished second in the 55 meter dash with a time of 8.35, Romina Medina finished third with a time of 8.36 for Triton, and Jessica Hukee finished fifth with a time of 8.63.

A photo in last week’s DCI with the caption: Jacob Duitsman and Coach Jamie Heidt embrace during the championship match at the Class AA High School State Championship, inadvertently credited the wrong photographer. Wildcats youth team advances to state tourney

The Dodge County PeeWee B Wildcats team will be competing in the state torment in Plymouth on Friday. They will compete against seven other teams from across Minnesota including East Grand Forks, North Shore, Edina, Bemidji, Grand Rapids, St. Louis Park, and Wayzata. Their record is 44-6-2. Triton falls to La Crescent-Hokah

The Triton boys basketball season has come to an end after falling to La Crescent-Hokah in the first round of the section tournament last week 81-70.
For the Cobras Pierce Petersohn had 34 points, William Thiemann had 14 points, Graden Thomas had 13 points, and Garet Jensen and Wade Holtet had two points.
 

Storkopf joins 1,000 point club

The Kasson-Mantorville girls basketball season came to an end last week, after losing to Stewartville 60-53 in the first round of the playoffs.
Ella Stoskopf scored her 1,000 career point in her career during the game, scoring a total of 22, adding three assists.
Keigan Cummings had 22 points, and three assists, Ellen Maki-Hakola scored six points, and had six rebounds, and Makenzie Carrier had five points, and six rebounds.
