Sarah Link named new KMES third grade teacher

With about a month before the first day of school, the Kasson-Mantorville School Board approved a number of different personnel items during its board meeting last week. 
The board accepted the resignations of full-time employees including, grounds assistant Ryan Jech, media paraprofessional Kristen Hjerleid, elementary school paraprofessional Mary Schacht and HS Media Specialist / Tech Teacher / District  Assessment Coordinator Chris Lannin. 
The board also approved the hiring of third grade teacher Sarah Link, elementary school night custodian Thomas Klinkhammer, School Readiness Paraprofessional Heather Binner, and middle school secretary Emily Mehling. Mehling will be taking over for Lindsey Hess who transferred to the DAC/Information Specialist position. 
The next regularly scheduled school board meeting is set for Monday, Aug. 26 at 7 p.m. in the high school forum room.
