Hayfield defeats BP

The Hayfield volleyball team defeated Blooming Prairie last week, pulling off a narrow 3-2 win. 
Jenna Christopherson had eight  kills, and 18 digs. Amber Ziegler had 10 kills, eight digs, five  blocks, and  aces. Carly Bronson had 11 kills, and three  digs. 
Kennady Rutledge had four  kills, 34 assists, 15 digs, and seven  aces. Isabel Winfield had two kills, three assists, 27 digs, and three  aces. Kori Lux had an  assist, and nine digs. Adrien Dahle had eight  digs and an ace. June Schmeling had one kill, and Evelyn Winfield had four kills, and five digs. 
“Great battle tonight by both teams,” head coach Samantha Thurman said after the game. “The girls left it all out on the floor and won in five.  I am extremely proud of the heart they showed out on that floor tonight.” 
Hayfield also faced off against Fillmore Central last week, falling 3-0.
