Finney resigns as Byron basketball coach

After taking the team to the high school state tournament again this year Byron Boys Basketball Coach Kyle Finney has resigned from his post.
The resignation was accepted during the April 21 School Board meeting.
Finney did not respond to an email request for comment for this story.
Byron won the Section 1AA tournament this year, falling in the first round of the state tournament, before making a run through the consolation bracket to finish fifth overall.
