Circus comes to stage at K-M

The Kasson-Mantorville High School Drama Department is excited to present its 2019 One Act Play Competition show, Everyman in the Circus of Life, adapted by Travis Tyre. A free performance will be given on Friday, Jan. 18, at 7 p.m. in the Minnesota WiFi Performing Arts Center at KMHS.

Triton Business Professions of America (BPA) sent 17 students to its Regional Competition, and they will send all 18 on to the State Competition after a successful day of competition.
 

Triton Community Ed expanding reach to district communities beginning with senior citizen group

Triton Community Ed is starting a new program this month for senior citizens that will move between the three communities in the Triton School District.

It was the first school board meeting of 2019 for the Kasson-Mantorville School Board on Monday night which meant it was also their annual organizational  meeting.
During the meeting it was a chance for new school board members Zakh Peterson and Mark Torkelson to be sworn in as the newest members of the board after being elected in November.

Time to ‘Teach Like a Pirate’ at Triton Middle School

Imagine that you could go to school, stop by your homeroom and pick up a schedule of what is being taught that day and then head out to the classes you choose. 
Not only that, but the teachers were able to teach whatever class they chose.

Triton’s teacher of the year always wanted to be a teacher

Ever since she was a child Katie Macrafic knew she wanted to be a teacher. “This is what I was meant to be,” the Triton kindergarten teacher said.
She has 21 years teaching experience, the last 19 teaching kindergarten at Triton. Her fellow Triton teachers agree and she has been chosen as Triton’s 2018-19 Teacher of the Year.
