Dr. Joe Sanfelippo inspires local schools with back-to-school message

Five area school districts came together for a special event at the Kasson-Mantorville Performing Arts Center ahead of the first day of school.
Staff members from Triton, Pine Island, Stewartville, Hayfield, and Kasson-Mantorville gathered to hear a powerful back-to-school message from nationally recognized educator Dr. Joe Sanfelippo.
The event was hosted by Kasson-Mantorville Schools, and was particularly personal for elementary principal Eric Schofield, who introduced Dr. Sanfelippo.
Schofield told the audience that his first teaching job in Wisconsin was offered to him by Dr. Sanfelippo, making the introduction even more meaningful.
Dr. Sanfelippo encouraged educators to see the impact of their daily work and reminded them that every small action matters to students and families. His talk highlighted the importance of relationships, celebrating successes, and building strong school communities.
