Triton girls basketball off to 6-1 start
The Triton girls basketball team is off to a 6-1 start.
In its matchup against WEM last week Triton won 68-51.
For Triton Norah Freiderich had six points, two rebounds, and an assist, Addi Oakland had 10 points, nine rebounds, and five assists, Rainey ??Dobbs had eight points, and eight rebounds, Keanna Molina had 14 points, four rebounds, and six assists, and Gigi Lundi had four points and three rebounds.
The Cobras also defeated United South Central 78-37.
“This is a really special group of girls, with 3 seniors, 3 juniors, and 2 sophomores. They have been playing basketball together for a long time which is clear in their team chemistry,” Head Coach Beth Hammitt wrote in an email. “They each know their role very well and are willing to put in the work. I am really excited to see what the rest of the year brings for these girls.”
On Monday night the Cobras had its first loss of the season falling to Zumbrota-Mazeppa 63-52.
