Neseth named next Triton AD

Current Triton Head Coach Brandon Neseth will be taking over as activities director for the district beginning July 1.

“I am excited for the opportunity to be the activities director at Triton,” he wrote in a prepared statement. “ I am in my (third) year at Triton and I have enjoyed my time here immensely. The communities of this district have been welcoming to my family and myself. I am excited to get the opportunity to support our wonderful advisors, coaches, and directors at Triton while continuing to build our culture within the Profiles of the Graduate. I will continue in my role as head football coach at Triton and thankful to the administration and school board for allowing me the opportunity of a lifetime.”

Neseth will be replacing current activities director Corey Black who said he is stepping away from the position.

“Over the past three and a half years, working with the Triton community has been the highlight of my professional career,” Black said. “ I want to thank everyone at Triton who has helped me learn and grow as Activities Director for Triton Public Schools.”

Black said he made the decision in order to spend more time with his family.

“I am making this decision to resign to spend more time with my family and ultimately be a better husband and father,” he said. “ I have nothing but confidence in the current staff and administration’s ability to continue to develop students at a high level in the classroom, community, and competition. I look forward to the next steps, and to continue to cheer on all Cobras.”
