Byron girls basketball starts season 6-1
The Byron girls basketball team defeated Lake City and Rochester Lourdes last week to improve to 6-1 on the season.
In its matchup Monday against Lake City Kendra Harvey led the team with 29 points, while Madison Ohm had 13 points.
Raegan Kelm dominated the boards with eight rebounds, and both Ella Nelson and Alyse Ayen contributed six rebounds each. Kayla Stork had five assists in the win.
In its 66-56 win over Rochester Lourdes Harvey had 20 points, and Ohn ahad 19.
Kelm grabbed a team-high six rebounds, with Nelson adding five Stork distributed a team-leading five assists.
