After falling to Lake City in December, the Kasson-Mantorville girls basketball team won last week 66-56.
For K-M, Makenzie Carrier 30 points had a career high 30 points, Ella Stoskopf had 17 points
Keigan Cummings had 16 points, Schuyler Sullivan had two points, and Delaney Awe had one point. Awe also had five assists, three rebounds, and two steals in the game, Carrier had eight rebounds, and four assists, Ava Pitzenberger had three rebounds, three steals, and an assist, and Stoskopf had 11 rebounds, and two steals.
On Friday, K-M fell just short to Goodhue 72-70.
Carrier lead the team in scoring with 25 points, four rebounds, and three assists, Cummings had 21 points, two rebounds, and two assists, Stoskopf had 17 points, 15 rebounds, and three assists, Maki-Hakola had two points, four rebounds, and two assists, and Malea Haraldson had three rebounds, and an assist.
On Saturday, Carrier hit a buzzer beater three pointer to send the game into overtime.
In the end the KoMets defeated Como Park 81-78.
Keigan Cummings had 19 points, surpassing 1,000 career points in the win. Carrier had 29 points, 10 rebounds, six steals, and four assists, Awe had eight points, four rebounds, five steals, and two assists, Maeki-Hakola had two points, and five rebounds, and Stoskopf had 21 points, 17 rebounds, an assist, and two steals.
