Blotter Spotlight: Extortion: On April 25 at 9:21 p.m., an extortion incident occurred in the 400 block of 3^rd St. NE in Hayfield.

April 19

Suspicion: At 12:54 p.m., deputies responded to a report of a smoldering fire pit in the 500 block of Main St. E. in Dodge Center.

April 20

Environment: At 1:06 p.m., a recliner was dumped in the ditch at 720^th St. and 210^th Ave. in Hayfield.

Suspicion: Deputies received a report of clothing in the ditch at U.S. Hwy. 14 and 130^th Ave. in Claremont at 7:37 p.m.

April 21

Suspicion: At 1:11 p.m., a suspicious male was tampering with a sign at State Hwy. 57 and County Road 15 in Mantorville.

Disturbance: Deputies responded to a disturbance in the 60700 block of 252^nd Ave. in Mantorville at 8:13 p.m.

April 23

Fire: Deputies responded to a barn fire in the 23300 block of 650^th St. in Kasson at 6:58 a.m.

Domestic: Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of Front St. E. in Claremont at 9:23 a.m.

Juvenile: Deputies received a juvenile complaint from the 900 block of Clay St. in Mantorville at 6:16 p.m.

Child Neglect: Deputies received a report of child abuse from the 62600 block of 130^th Ave. in Claremont at 5:27 p.m.

April 25

Harassment: At 9:39 a.m., a harassment incident occurred at Triton High School.

Sexual Assault: Deputies began an investigation of sexual assault in Hayfield at 2:28 p.m.

Larceny: Deputy took a theft report in the 24700 block of 619^th St. in Mantorville at 6:22 p.m.

Child Protection: Police received a child protection report from 5^th Ave. SE at 7:08 a.m.

Suspicion: Officers responded to suspicious activity in the 1400 block of 5^th Ave. NE at 3:05 p.m. and at Mantorville Ave. S. and Main St. at 9:43 p.m.

Juvenile: Police received a juvenile complaint from the 600 block of 3^rd Ave. SW at 6:16 p.m.

April 20

Suspicion: Officers responded to suspicious activity in the 500 block of 1^st St. NE at 1:06 a.m. and the 100 block of 16^th St. NE at 1:34 p.m.

Child Protection: Police received a child protection report from the 200 block of Sunset Ave. at 11:52 a.m.

Probation: Police conducted probation checks in the 500 block of Veterans Memorial Highway W. at 9:39 p.m. and the 500 block of 2^nd Ave. SW at 10:43 p.m.

Noise: Police received a noise complaint from the 300 block of Countryview St. at 11:08 p.m.

April 21

Juvenile: Police received a juvenile complaint from the 1000 block of 4^th Place NW at 10:08 p.m.

Suspicion: Officers found suspicious activity at County Hwy. 34 and County Road 9 S. at 10:07 p.m.

April 22

Welfare: Officer conducted a welfare check in the 1300 block of 3^rd St. NW at 1:54 a.m.

Harassment: Harassment incidents occurred in the 1400 block of 12^th St. NW at 11:28 a.m. and the 1400 block of 6^th Ave. SE at 12:34 p.m.

Suspicion: Officers responded to suspicious activity in the 100 block of 3^rd St. NE at 1:16 p.m.

Disturbance: Police responded to a disturbance in the 300 block of 1^st Ave. NE at 11:50 p.m.

April 23

Threats: Officers responded to a subject making threats in the 800 block of 5^th Ave. NW at 1:57 p.m.

Suspicion: At 3:45 p.m., juveniles were throwing MNDOT signs in the river at Veterans Memorial Highway and 3^rd Ave.

Juvenile: Police received a juvenile complaint from the 800 block of 5^th Ave. NW at 5:08 p.m.

April 24

Vape: At 12:47 p.m., a student had a vape at ZED.

Suspicion: At 1:30 p.m., police found a male sitting in the road at 8^th Ave. NW and 12^th St. NW.

Suspicion: Officers responded to suspicious activity on Veterans Memorial Highway E. at 6:48 p.m.

April 25

Fraud: Officer took a fraud report on Sunset Ave. at 6:55 p.m.
