Joel Alan Wright, 58, Mantorville

Joel Alan Wright, 58, of Mantorville, MN passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, surrounded by his loving family after a yearlong battle with cancer. Born July 26, 1966, in Rochester, Joel was the beloved son of Judy and Allan Wright.
After graduating from Dodge Center High School in 1984, he attended Winona State University. Joel married Marnie Erickson in 1991, and together they raised three wonderful children. Following college, he began his career with Weis Builders for 10 years before joining Hawk & Son’s Crane Service, where he worked for nearly 30 years.
Joel was preceded in death by his grandparents, Virgil and Dorothy Haugen and Glen Wright. He is survived by his parents, Allan and Judith Wright; his children, Brady (Marissa), Will (Kortney), and Meredith Wright; siblings Jon Wright and Kris (Mark) Dambach, grandmother Ruth Wright; and his partner, Julie Beth. Joel was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
Joel was passionate about his Mustangs, the Vikings, and enjoying time with loved ones—preferably out on the boat. He was happiest spending time in his shop, where he was known for his ability to fix anything that rolled through the doors. Most of all, Joel was the proudest father to all three of his children.
