West Concord Ambulance Director Adam La Plount was at the city’s Christmas event on Saturday to explain new education programs from the city’s Community Health Initiative. With a grant from the Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation (SMIF) the city will offer basic first aid and CPR classes, office hours for blood pressure and blood sugar tests and health education sessions.
