Hayfield girls’ basketball wins Gopher Conference title

The Lady Vikings had a full week on the hardcourt, and they won three games in the process. On Monday, February 13, Hayfield dominated Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton, 62-36. Friday saw the Lady Vikes edge Randolph, 57-55, and Saturday’s result was a Gopher Conference Championship win for Hayfield over NRHEG, 63-55.

BYRON — The Lady Bears won a game and lost a game last week. On Tuesday, February 14, Byron bested Kasson-Mantorville, 65-39. The Byron girls fell to Goodhue, 67-51, on Thursday, at Byron High School.

Lady basketball Cobras enjoy winning week

The Triton girls basketball team played its final week of the regular season, and they came away with a pair of wins and one loss. On Thursday, February 16, Triton topped Lewiston-Altura, 62-29. The Cobras handled Kenyon-Wanamingo, 69-50, on Friday. Wrapping-up the week and the regular season, the Triton girls fell to Lake City, 53-43, on Saturday.
