Mantorville Art Guild reopens with reception Feb. 4, 5
The Mantorville Art Guild, which has been closed in January, will be reopening just in time for Valentine’s Day. The gallery will reopen on January 26 with a Valentine’s Day Gallery Reopening and Reception planned for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both Saturday, February 4, and Sunday, February 5.
Stop by the Valentine’s Day Gallery Reopening and Reception, meet the artists demonstrating their talents and enjoy refreshments and door prizes.
There is also still time to see the winter artworks by members of the Art Guild which are on display at the Kasson Public Library until the end of January when they will be replaced by a new display.
The Art Guild and the library began a partnership in 2022 where works by members are displayed in the library with the display changing periodically. The goal of the partnership has been to increase the awareness of the Guild, and the arts in general, in Kasson and throughout southeastern Minnesota.
The artwork that is currently on display is for sale and interested individuals can contact the Art Guild at email@example.com or the artists directly.
The guild is a non-profit arts organization that include artist members from all over southeastern Minnesota. It is located in a pre-Civil War building in historic Mantorville.
In addition to being a gallery and studio, the members offer a variety of classes and activities for both adults and youth throughout the year. This includes the yearly Summer Youth Camp that features classes in a variety of media.
Also, the Guild recognizes student artists each year during Youth Art Month with a display of art work by students at area schools.
